Exploring Cilymaenllwyd: Your Gateway to Woodland & Countryside Walks
Walking Routes in and round the Wenallt Valley
We’re delighted to announce that eight beautiful public footpath routes in and around the Afon Wenallt valley are now open for everyone to enjoy. This valley is a vibrant example of Celtic/Atlantic temperate rainforest, home to diverse flora, ancient woodland, and an abundance of wildlife. With the paths now accessible, the area offers new opportunities for both quiet nature walks and longer scenic adventures. Whether you’re a seasoned walker, a weekend explorer, or simply seeking some fresh air, these routes provide a wonderful way to experience the woodlands, wildlife, and rolling countryside of Cilymaenllwyd.
Each route comes with a detailed map and some include distance, elevation and points of interest, which you can view below.
